Bola Tinubu, the former governor of the Lagos state and national leader of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC), has counseled Kogi people ahead the governorship election.

He defined the Peoples Democratic Party as a party of losers and urged the state to vote for APC’s candidate Abubakar Audu.

Ex-governor made the statement during a rally in support of Audu. He said Kogi can’t afford to be in the opposition, adding that the PDP is a ‘poverty development party’.

Tinubu added: “We thank you for voting for us in the presidential election. Now, you must complete that change.”

The PDP has recently accused President Muhammadu Buhari of planning to rig thee forthcoming Kogi governorship elections.

However, the presidency denied the claim, saying that the opposition party was determined to destroy all national institutions.
