RE: FRAUDULENT ‘DAKKADA’ EMPLOYMENT SCHEME
The attention of the management of the Directorate of Marketing and Brand Management, Governors office, has been drawn to a fraudulent employment scheme, inviting unsuspecting job seekers to a fake screening interview purportedly scheduled to hold on 5th September 2017, for a possible employment into a non-existing DAKKADA Palm Oil Refinery with corporate office at New Abak Road, off Ikot Oku Ikono Junction in Uyo.
The Directorate of Marketing and Brand Management wishes to disassociate itself from the employment scam.
For the benefit of doubt, the Directorate of Marketing and Brand Management is the piloting agency of the Dakkada Philosophy of Governor Udom Emmanuel administration, and it is the supervising agency for all the programmes bearing the ‘Dakkada’ name and logo.
Hence if there is any Dakkada Palm Oil Refinery or an employment into such an organization, the Directorate of Marketing and Brand Management would be fully involved.
In the light of the above, we advise members of the public to disregard and ignore such call for job interview or screening and treat same as a scam, as neither the Directorate nor its sister agencies are carrying out any recruitment exercise.
While urging members of the public to refrain from unauthorized use of the “dakkada’ brand name and logo, we also warn perpetrators and syndicates of the employment scam to immediately refrain from this dastardly act or risk being arrested by the law enforcement agencies.
The ‘Dakkada’ name and logo are registered brand properties of the Akwa Ibom State government and can therefore not be used by anyone without due authorisation and clearance by the Directorate of Marketing and Brand Management.
Members of the public can make enquiry and get information on the programmes and activities of the directorate, on our website: www.dakkada.com.ng or visit our offices at No. 65, Wellington Bassey Way, Uyo.
