By Hanifat Mustapha: The Super Falcons’ fixture against Mali in the WAFU Women’s Cup of Nations has been rescheduled from 4pm till 7pm Nigeria time tonight, reports.
This is as result of Mali coming in as replacement after  Benin Republic, originally scheduled to meet Nigeria, withdrew from the tournament.
According to the tournament’s official website, Mali will arrive Abidjan later on Thursday and will play the eight-time African champions the same day at Parc des Sports in Abidjan, Cote d’Ivoire.
Both Nigeria and Mali last met in the group stage of the 2016 African Women’s Cup of Nations in Cameroon when Nigeria won 6-0.
The Super Falcons will then take on Senegal on Saturday and Togo on Monday.
The WAFU Women Cup of Nations which will on 24 of February serves as a preparation for the 2018 Women’s World Cup qualifiers set to commence in April.
