7. Vector

Vector has had his fair share of the ills of the music industry. He was unable to put out music for the first half of 2014 due to issues with his  former record label which was eventually resolved.

He released the #A7 mixtape in September 2014 to announce his return to the scene. The tape was well received, and that gave him some momentum going into 2015.

Vector started out 2015 with a bang. He unleashed the monster single – “King Kong”, one of the biggest rap singles out of Nigeria this year. “King Kong” earned him two nominations at this year’s Headies (Best Rap Song & Lyricist on the Roll). With two note-worthy remixes that cater for everyone, “King Kong” is definitely one of Vector’s most successful single till date.

V.E.C was announced as one of the headliners of the 2015 Hennessy Artistry; a pointer that his comeback to the top of the rap food chain is in full effect.
