In a bid to fortify the Police force, the Ogun state commissioner of police, Abdulmajid Ali has approached the general overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG).
The punch reports that Ali led his people to Redemption Camp, the church’s headquarters situated on Lagos-Ibadan expressway, yesterday, Monday, November 16. Aside from being prayed upon by the General Overseer of the RCCG, Pastor Enoch Adeboye, they were there to be spiritually fortified to tackle security challenges in the state.
There were plans to also discuss relevant security issues in and around the church’s Redemption Camp.
While in Papa Adeboye’s presence, Ali said: “We commend RCCG for the support being given to the command. Let me use this opportunity to seek your (Adeboye’s) prayers as we handle security issues in the camp and the state at large.”
“I also urge other well-meaning individuals to emulate the general overseer in assisting the police command in all ramifications to discharge its duties efficiently.”
After all the talk, the CP and his men got what they came for- much-needed prayers from Pastor Adeboye.
Just days ago, there were reports that the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG) had begun the repair of the Arepo and Warewa ends of the Lagos-Ibadan Expressway, but investigations carried out by Naij.com revealed that it was the Ogun state government that was repairing the expressway.
