The sacked Governor of Taraba state, Darius Ishakuwas spotted at The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) 2015 National Conference in Abuja on Thursday, November 12.

The PDP ‎has suffered another blow after the ‎Taraba State Election Petition Tribunal nullified the election of Governor Darius Ishaku and declared Aisha Alhassan as the winner of the April 11 governorship election in the state. But it did not prevent Ishaku from visiting the party’s Conference, as he has promised to appeal the verdict of the tribunal.

The PDP could not but drew the attention of the international community to the APC-led government’s “growing impunity, abuse of power, constitution infractions, violation of human rights, selective war against corruption, clamp down on the opposition, divisiveness and overall high-handedness, tendencies that pose great threat to our democracy and unity as a nation.”
