Association of Non-Indigene Prestigious Women in Akwa Ibom State (ANIPWA) – a socio-political group, has concluded the celebration of its third year anniversary. The event, held on Sunday 29th April, 2018, at the Multipurpose Hall, Governor’s Office Annex, Uyo, was attended by Government functionaries, dignitaries, members, family and friends of the association.
The association, created as a strong and united platform to bring together women who are not indigenes of the state, has a sole aim of advancing various dreams, goals and aspiration that will benefit members and the great people of Akwa Ibom State.
For the past three years, this organization has been at the forefront of supporting and championing many worthy causes capable of impacting positively on the lives of women in particular and Akwaibomites in general.
In the coming years, ANIPWA, hopes to engage in initiatives and actions that will promote better living for its members and non-members and indigenes of the state. These initiatives include Skills Acquisition, provision of seed capital for SMEs and awareness campaigns.
