The Independent National Electoral Commission will start the configuration of Smart Card Readers to be used for the November 26 governorship election in Ondo State on Thursday.
The commission, which stated this in its bulletin released in Abuja on Wednesday, also disclosed that it would also commence a two-day training for Collation/ Returning Officers for the election on Monday.
The training, it said, would end on Tuesday next week.
The Commission also said it would deploy 16,723 personnel for the election.
Ondo state is made up of 18 Local Government Areas, 203 Registration Areas, and 3,010 Polling Units.
