The National Chairman of the Alliance for New Nigeria (ANN), Dr. Joy Osi Samuel has described the old politicians in governance as the brain behind the Nation’s woes.
He stressed that this recycling of old politician into governance kept Nigeria in this deplorable condition right now.
However,he stated that his party if voted into power, will end the recycling of old politicians into governance and will also give Nigerian youths the ample opportunity to participate in the affairs of the government
Daily Post reports that, the chairman made this announcement when Addressing his party supporters in Abuja.
Samuel stated that Alliance for New Nigeria is a political party that will do things differently from others, insisting that the nation has lost focus under Buhari’s administration.
According to him, those who could not participate in politics due to their profession will be mobilized to champion the cause of Nigerians under the umbrella of ANN platform
He added that the party has a selling point which was different from others.
“As an opposition political party, we have a unique selling point that is different from others.”
“Primarily, we are party of professionals who are tired of recycling of old politicians who don’t have anything to offer Nigerians in the last 20 years or more. ”
ANN chairman further stated that the destinies of Nigerians have been in the hands of old people whose brain had stop functioning for a long time. Therefore, they should allow Nigerians work out their own destinies, an anomaly, he said, would be corrected when the party takes over governance.
He further disclosed that some members of the party were the old brain behind the ‘Not Too Young To Run’ bill which was signed into law by President Muhammadu Buhari, penultimate week.
“We are proving to Nigerians that they can own a political party which enables them to work out their own destiny rather than placing it in the hands of leaders who don’t mean well for them,” the Chairman said.
