Leicester City manager Claude Puel has praised Wilfried Ndidi for the Nigeria midfielder’s contributions to the side.
The 20-year-old Nigerian international has been churning out consistent displays playing alongside Vincent Iborra in the heart of Leicester City’s midfield and Puel believes Ndidi has a bright future ahead of him if he keeps improving.
“Wilfred has made progress also,” Puel told Leicester City Mecury.
“He is a fantastic recoverer of the ball, winning the ball back, and gives us possession.
“He puts in some fantastic work on the pitch. I think also he improves with the ball and plays with quality.
“I think he can make further progress in this area. He has great potential for the future.”
Ndidi who has played in all 15 English Premier League games for Leicester City is expected to make his 41st appearance in all competition when the Foxes take on Newcastle United at St James’ Park on Saturday.
