Fast rising ‘music messenger’ Pius Ushie aka Real Pee made history in Cross River State, as he played host to the high and mighty for his ‘Imperfect Me’ album release concert, parading the best of Cross River State entertainers.

With a voice and style of music that sounds like Tuface, the last that was heard of Real Pee was rumours of being signed on to Hypertek Music during his trip to tour the music scene in Lagos, and some national promotional campaign.
It was indeed a night that will not be forgotten in a hurry, when entertainment big names gathered to project the new Calabar music kid- Real Pee Ajaba. The buzz of the event was on for about a month, but many did not believe that the Real Pee Album Release Concert will host Kas Beat the ‘Fimile’ crooner, Mode 9- Nigeria’s Best Rapper and Lyricist on the Roll for five years and still counting, ‘Originality’ and ‘Kolomental’ singer Faze and the rave of the moment ‘Limpopo’ singer and waist master- Kcee.
The Channel View Hotel hall in Calabar was filled up on Saturday, 29th June, 2013, MC Mbakara unleashed the best in him, Last Prophet’s jokes cracked ribs and kept the audience in awe like a pastor preaching in church, Who Kes came out raw and undiluted, Jeni Krest impressed the audience with her freestyle, Upper X and the Okpo Records crew got the crowd dancing, with DJ Slym and DJ Preppy on the wheels of steel, in short, all the performers killed the show, and buried it later on at Jasper Nite Club.
On ground to review and advice Real Pee were Mr. Sunny Udeh- Special Assistant to Gov. Imoke on Admin, Mr. & Mrs. Richard, Mista Xto, Eric Anderson, Effiom Trombone, Obong & Princess Moses Akpubak, Mr. Slym CEO Ness Hotel, representatives of STRINGS DIGITAL, GeniTech, and Exposure.
Like my colleague who reviewed May D’s Chapter One album noted the lack of professionalism in the production and packaging of the artiste’s debut album, I promise to take time out to listen to the ‘Impefect Me’ album by Real Pee, and present a review. Ignore the missing ‘r’ in the spelling of ‘Imperfect Me’.

I also want to state openly that I cannot forgive his management and Accorage Event consultant for such grammatical error on the album jacket, and other printed materials I saw at the event.

But all in all, it was a grand outing that has projected Real Pee to limelight, just as he sounds like Tuface, it is also expected of him to be humble like Tuface, after being able to raise over a million Naira at the launch, Real Pee should be empowered to take on the bigger music scene.

Pictures of this event coming soon!
