…Prepares For Grand Finale On Friday

The Itu Chapter of The People’s Democratic Party (PDP) has successfully concluded the tour of wards in the Local Government, with colorful rallies held at U.P.E. Primary School, Ikot Ekwere Itam and Q.I.C Primary School, Ikot Obio Enang on Monday.
Speaking at the event, the Director General, Itu Chairmanship Campaign organization and former Transition Chairman of the Local Government, Hon. Okon Etim Okon thanked all members of the party for their sustained support and charged them to remain committed to the success of all PDP candidates in the forthcoming elections.
The Member representing Itu State Constituency in the Akwa Ibom State House of Assembly, Hon. Prince Idongesit Ituen who spoke in ward 8 said the people would live up to bidding and ensure the PDP candidates win in all polling units in the area.
While reaffirming his loyalty to the PDP, Ituen also pledged to mobilize his support base for the party’s flag bearers and charged every member of the party not to relent in their drive for support, particularly at the grass root level.
The Akwa Ibom State’s Commissioner for Housing and Special Duties, Mr. Akan Okon called on all well meaning citizens of the Local Government to vote for Barr. Etetim Onuk, Emem Ekpanya and all PDP candidates in the December 2 polls. He reiterated his trust in the capabilities of the candidates filed by the party.
While presenting the party’s candidates, the Chapter Chairman of the PDP in Itu, Mr. Victor Okon said the party remains the only platform that can deliver the dividends of democracy to the people and tasked all to go back to their respective units and ensure their candidates success in the elections.
Finally, the Chairmanship candidate, Barr. Etetim Onuk thanked all for their continued support and contributions and reaffirmed his resolve to deliver on his campaign promises when elected Chairman of Itu Local Government. He used the opportunity to invite all to the grand finale of campaign activities in Itu; scheduled to hold on Friday, November 24, 2017 at the Itu Local Government Council grounds, Mbak Atai, at 10:00am.
