The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Delta state has described the economic policies so far initiated by All Progressives Congress (APC) in the country as injurious to Nigerians.

The party in also accused the APC of deceiving Nigerians with a change that has brought so much hardship to Nigerians, Vanguard reports.

Chairman of part in the state, Chief Kingsley Esiso, made the accusation against when he led the state executive of the party on a familiarization visit to to members in Isoko North Local Government Area.

“They (APC) love deceiving Nigerians. We suffered it in 2015 and we are still suffering it today. They came and sold change to us. Nigerians bought change without knowing the type of change they were selling. The change Nigerians bought is negative, injurious and has brought suffering to them,” Esiso said.

The party chieftain called for unity in the party to enable it build on its successes and win the 2019 general election at all levels.

Meanwhile, the campaign organization of the APC alleged that Governor Olusegun Mimiko is working secretly to ensure a postponement of the Ondo election. 

This was disclosed in a statement by Soji Alakuro, the APC director of communications, Vanguard reports.

But according to the organisation, the APC candidate, Oluwarotimi Akeredolu is ready for the election as it urged the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) and security agencies not to succumb to the antics of the governor.
