Dr. Uduak Udo-Inyang, may have been relieved of his post as the immediate past Commissioner for Agriculture and Food Sufficiency in Akwa Ibom state but his loyalty remains unflinching and his commitment unshaken for his boss, Governor Udom Emmanuel, and the Akwa Ibom project.
In a letter obtained by our reporter from the former Commissioner’s office, he expressed sincere gratitude and appreciation to His Excellency, Governor Udom Emmanuel, for allowing him to serve in the State Executive Council.
He also appreciated his colleagues who he worked together as a team to record some achievements during his tenure as Commissioner.
Describing Governor Udom Emmanuel as a God-fearing, humane, hardworking, result-oriented and focused leader, the former Commissioner stated that his experience in the State Exco has impacted positively on his person and that he considers it a privilege to have served in the victorious ONLY GOD team.
He expressed appreciation to God and the good people of Akwa Ibom State, assuring them of his unflinching support at all times.
Dr. Udo-Inyang, before his appointment as Commissioner, was a lecturer in the University of Uyo, where he served as the head, Agricultural Unit, UNIUYO Consult.
He had previously worked as a consultant in Madawa Farms Nig. Ltd, Abuja; Saleem and Saleem International and Kano State Agricultural and Rural Development Authority.
The former Commissioner obtained his doctorate from the University of Uyo in 2011 and he has more than 20 publications to his credit.
An indigene of Ukpum Okon clan in Ikot Abasi LGA, the former Agric Boss is a chieftain of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and a member of the PDP Elders’ Forum, Ukpum Okon Clan.
