Final Rubbishing: Ibom Metropolitan Polytechnic to Expel Students with link to Cultism on campus

Students of Ibom Metropolitan Polytechnic have been warned and charged to desist from any activities that will link them to cultism on Campus as the leadership of the institution was poised to expel such victims.

Addressing the students during a workshop organized to receive the new students, the Rector of the Polytechnic Engr. Dr. Victor Williams said the College was opened for academic activities and anything outside such will not be condoned. Dr. Williams said IMP was working effortlessly to making sure that cultism was not tolerated in schools campus.

He said any student caught involved with such devilish act will be expelled from the institution.

Also speaking, the Chief Security Officer of the institution said any student found not adhering to the instruction of the institution and engages in cult activities will face “final rubbishing” and expulsion.

Interestingly, the workshop featured various seminar presentations including security tips, awareness, finance and payment by Mrs. Ntuen; Career and Motivational counseling by Dr. Martins & Co; Health Care/instrumentations by Engr. Rueben Etuk; and Regularization/NYSC Issues and Orientation addressed by the Deputy Rector.
