Group E

Bayer Leverkusen vs Tottenham Hotspur

Spurs have not been entirely convincing in the Champions League this season and Leverkusen have not fared better. On paper, the English side look better but they are missing some crucial players.

Harry Kane, Moussa Dembele, Kyle Walker and Toby Alderweirld are sure absentees while Lars Bender and Karim Bellarabi should be absent for the home side with injuries.

Predicted scorline: Bayer Leverkusen 1 – 3 Tottenham

CSKA Moscow vs Monaco

Monaco have been one of the best teams in the Champions League this season with a draw and a win from their two games. CSKA meanwhile are flattering to deceive with a draw and a defeat.

CSKA will be missing Alan Dzagoev, Eremenko and Akinfeev while Monaco are without Dirar, Elmany Toure and Radamel Falcao.

Predicted scoreline: CSKA 1 – 2 Monaco

Group F

Real Madrid vs Legia Warszawa

These are the kind of games Cristiano Ronaldo loves; just ask the Molde et al. However, Luka Modric, Casemiro and Sergio Ramos are expected to also miss the game due to respective injuries.

Sporting CP vs Borussia Dortmund

Quite a number of Dortmund players have been plagued with series of injuries coming into this game.

The German side will be missing a mammoth eleven players (and three left backs) and this could give Sporting right winger Gelson Martins a free roam. Despite the absentees, Dortmund have a large enough squad to trouble Sporting.

Lyon vs Juventus

Juventus are definitely the favourites to win this game but with the likes of Chiellini, Pjaca, Mandzukic, Lichtsteiner, Rugani, Marchisio, Asamoah all out, Lyon could cause a few problems.

The Italian champions should go with a 4-3-1 -2 formation with Paolo Dybala and Gonzalo Higuain upfront, Hernanes behind them in the middle, while Pjanic, Lemina and Sami Khedira complete the midfield.
