Former Abia state Governor, Orji Uzor Kalu, yesterday said President Muhammadu Buhari holds the Igbos in high esteem.

Kalu who shared some old pictures which was taken 18 years ago on his Twitter page said merchants of disunity would not allow Nigerians to see the photo.

The picture shows President Buhari, Head of State of the defunct Republic of Biafra, Chief Emeka Odumegwu-Ojukwu, Minister of labour and employment, Chris Ngige, and Orji Kalu, former governor of Abia state in an event which took place in the south east some years back.

The former governor tweeted; What merchants of disunity wouldnt want you to see. This was us 18 years ago . People probably never knew especially our young chaps who are not historically well guided . Beyond politics President Buhari @MBuhari holds the Igbos in high esteem.
