Manchester United defender Luke Shaw has picked Super Eagles winger Victor Moses as his toughest opponent he has ever faced in the English topflight.
According to Shaw, Moses strength and pace left him breathless, during his time at Southampton.
Speaking with Youtube channel Tobiias, Shaw said: “A lot of people rinse me for it, but Moses is the toughest opponent.
“The power and strength he had… so direct, he never gave me a second to breathe.
“I was pretty young, it was either my first or second season with Southampton, he was, now when I think back, my toughest game I’ve had.”
The Nigeria international was recently crowned the PFA Fans’ Premier League Player of the Month for November, following his superb performance for Chelsea.
Moses was recently named as PFA Fans’ Premier League Player of the Month for November and scored the winner against Tottenham last weekend.
The 25-year-old has had unsuccessful loan spells at Liverpool, Stoke and West Ham before his resurgence under new Chelsea boss Antonio Conte after switching from midfield to wing-back.
