Nigerian forward Osaze Odemwingie scored in Madura’s 4-1 home win against PS TNI in an Indonesian top flight game on Friday.

The goal was Odemwingie’s fifth in seven league games for Madura United this season.

Madura went 1-0 up through Gregory Junior in the 17th minute.

Odemwingie, 35, made it 2-0 to Madura when he got on the score sheet in the 42nd minute.

In the 49th minute, PS TNI reduced the deficit thanks to Leonel Nunez which brought the score to 2-1.

Slamet Urfan restored Madura’s two-goal lead when he scored on 59 minutes to make it 3-1.

In the 64th minute, Dane Milovanovic sealed the win for Madura to end the game 4-1.

The win takes Madura to second on 12 points after seven games in the league table.

They are just one point behind leaders PSM Makassar who do not play until Sunday.
