Premier League returnees, Newcastle United have reportedly opened talks with Liverpool regarding a loan deal for Nigerian-born youngster, Sheyi Ojo.
Ojo was one of the six Nigerian-born England youth internationals who helped the U-20 side win the 2017 FIFA U-20 World Cup in South Korea. Others included Dominic Solanke, Ademola Lookman, Fikayo Tomori, Josh Onomah and his Liverpool teammate, Ovie Ejaria.
Newcastle United manager Rafa Benitez , according to Chroniclelive. co.uk, is looking for wing players to shore up his team as they make a return to the top flight after just a season in the Championship.
Talks between the clubs are still at the early stages, but Newcastle are hopeful of agreeing a loan deal for the English winger whom Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp had reserved special praises for last season.
The Chronicle informed that Rafael Benitez made his interest known in January, but Liverpool turned down the Magpies' approach.
Ojo made just two appearances for the Merseyside outfit last season, and both appearances were in the FA Cup.
