Popular musician Mista Xto was sworn in as a member of the Akwa Ibom State Council for Arts and Culture; this was confirmed in a chat with him at the Uyo office of his record label and multimedia company-South Central.
Full of joy, Mista Xto is a strong supporter of the Peoples Democratic Party in the South-South, and he has contributed meaningfully to the entertainment agenda, social re-orientation responsibilities and direct mediation for the government of Obong Attah, Donald Duke, Senator Liyel Imoke and Governor Godswill Akpabio.
His involvement in politics is no more news to his close allies and followers, Xto is a musician extraordinaire who will only sit down to create songs to criticize non performing governments, but he is also offering himself and wealth of experience to serve the people.
The Akwa Ibom State Council for Arts and Culture has as its Chairman, Hon. Enyina Herkin Inyang, and Robert Nyong, Awajigana S. Toikor, Mr Uwem David Joshua and Christopher Stephen a.k.a Mista Xto as member.
Congratulatory Messages have been flowing in from all political and entertainment quarters to the intelligent father of one who also added a year on the 31st of December 2012. For the entertainers, it is a thing of joy that the administration of Governor Godswill Akpabio has not just encouraged and empowered women, but entertainers alike.
