Nigerian stars Victor Moses and Victor Anichebe have both been nominated in a six-man shortlist for the Premier League PFA Fans’ Player of the Month for November.
The nominees were announced on Tuesday on skysports.com and also include Manchester City’s Sergio Aguero, Nordin Amrabat of Watford, Matt Phillips of West Bromwich Albion, and Swansea’s Gylfi Sigurdsson.
The shortlist was chosen by an expert panel, which included Sky Sports pundits Paul Merson, Peter Beagrie; the Mike Riley, general manager of the Professional Game Match Officials; and Malcolm Clarke, chairman of the Football Supporters’ Federation.
The winner will be announced at 10am on Wednesday.
Moses continued his good form for Chelsea in November, scoring in last Saturday’s 2-1 London derby win against Tottenjam Hotspur.
He also capped his brilliant performance in November with back-to-back man of the match awards against Middlesbrough and Spurs.
On his part, Anichebe was instrumental in Sunderland’s two consecutive wins since returning from injury.
The former West Brom striker was on target in Sunderland’s 2-1 comeback win away to Bournemouth (their first win of the season), before bagging a brace in a 3-0 home win against Hull City.
