French Ligue 2 club RC Lens are showing interest in Nigeria midfielder Oghenekaro Etebo who currently plays for Portuguese top flight club Feirense.
The 21-year-old’s impressive displays for Feirense this season have attracted interest from different European clubs.
According to Portuguese newspaper, A Bola, Lens recently sent scouts to watch Etebo in action for Feirense.
But it is unclear whether the French second-tier outfit will press on their interest for the combative midfielder.
Etebo, whose current contract with Feirense ends next year, has three goals and three assists this season.
Feirense are eighth on 45 points in the 18-team Portuguese top flight league table.
They are just four points away from sixth position which is the Europa League qualification spot.
Etebo is part of the Super Eagles 25-man squad invited by Gernot Rohr to face Corsica in a friendly game later in May.
