Following the visit of the Junior Chamber International (JCI) International Vice President, Africa & Middle East Volkan Ozturk to the Senior Special Assistant to President Jonathan on MDGs Dr. (Mrs) K Gbeneol on 21st February, 2013 during the 4-day working visit of the JCI IVP to Nigeria, JCI Nigeria has been invited to participate in a National MDGs Workshop holding from today 4th till tomorrow 5th April, 2013 at Chida International Hotel Abuja. National MDGs Workshop is the first of its kind in recent years.

The Workshop according to the Office of the Senior Special Assistant to President Jonathan on MDGs is aimed at stepping up Nigeria’s preparations to attend a UN Summit on MDGs in Geneva for July 2013.

In line with the policy thrust of this administration, JCI Nigeria has sent a Delegation of National Board members, Chapter Presidents as well as Area Team members to attend this event.

Consequently, the 2013 JCI Nigeria National President Oyebanjo Okunuga (pictured above) has delegated EVP C Saheed Adegoke to lead the 15-Man JCI Nigeria delegation and ensure maximum participation of JCI Nigeria to the debate and to  make inputs to the Position Paper that will be adopted thereafter.

Indeed, the visit of the JCI IVP to BusinessDay brought the Job Fair invitation and now this new invitation. You can learn more about JCI at www.jci.cc
