Cesc Fabregas and Gary Cahill were sent off the pitch on Saturday evening as Burnley stunned Chelsea at Stamford Bridge.
Cahill got a straight red card after a hard tackle on Steven Defour in the 14th minute, leaving the Belgian midfielder injured.
Fabregas was booked two minutes later for pushing Jack Cork before Sam Vokes set Burnley on the lead in the 24th minute.
Stephen Ward doubled the lead with a header after Defour made a brilliant cross while Vokes scored his second goal two minutes before the first half ended.
New signing Alvaro Morata headed in for Chelsea after the restart when he took advantage of Willian’s cross.
Fabregas, however, made his second bookable offence with a rough tackle on Cork in the 81st minute and was sent off by the referee.
Chelsea got their second goal when David Luiz volleyed the ball into the back of the net two minutes to the end of the match.
Burnley got their first three points as the match ended 3-2.
