On Wednesday evening, May 29, 2013 at Playground Event Centre, a new social group for Akwa Ibom masses Ndito Boys & Girls Organization staged a Democracy Day Jamboree tagged Ndito Boys & Girls of Akwa Ibom Democracy Day Jamboree.
May 29 is a day Nigerians celebrate her growing democracy since the military handed over power to civilian rule in 1999. The people of Akwa Ibom state from far and wide thronged Brooks street Uyo for the free open-air free which was organized by the group to celebrate democracy in the state, acknowledging the peace that has reigned over the years. 
With a line-up of the creme-da-la-creme of  entertainers in the state, hosted by Mr. Xto, the event was truly an “off the hook jamboree”.
