Comedian Sir James Celebrates Mum At 56

It was fun all round as family, friends, colleagues and associates of Akwa Ibom’s No.1 rib cracker and  Chairman of COMEDIANS INTERNATIONAL; Akwa Ibom State, Comedian Sir James joined him to celebrate his mother’s 56th birthday on Sunday September 14th 2014.

Held at the family residence, the indoor celebrations was hosted by his son who was last year decorated as Best comedian in Akwa-Cross. Widely celebrated comic act in his speech appreciated his mother for attaining 56 years of good health with a blessed family, he added that his success story wouldn’t have been well told without mentioning his mother and by extension his family. He wished the retired nurse many more years on earth to see her great-grand children.

The celebrant who retired from nursing profession at the rank of Chief Nursing Officer – CNO in 2003 was full of joy for the honor done her by her 1st son, she thanked visitors for honoring her at 56 and prayed for good health for all attendees.

While also appreciating guest, the husband Engr. Emmanuel Essien thanked God for sustaining his family to celebrate his wife at 56, referring to the celebrant as his best friend, companion and confidant. He prayed God for more of such celebrations in bigger gathering.

In his vote of thanks, Sir James hinted that the celebration was packaged by the children of the celebrant hence the indoor setting, he thanked his friends for coming to celebrate with a family that has produced one of Akwa Ibom State’s most-celebrated act.
